Saxophoniste de formation, Simon De Prinçay commence la pratique de la musique en jouant dans des groupes de pop et de funk, cultivant son goût pour l’improvisation et les collaborations musicales. Il devient Dj en 1999 et ingénieur du son SAE en 2000, il est signé par le label M13 Records et licencié chez Polydor Universal la même année. Son 1er single Bedroom Eyes est compilé à 100 000 ex par Sony Bmg en 2002, mais le succès escompté n’arrive pas. Réalisateur en studio pour le label, il apprend alors beaucoup sur les techniques de production dans de nombreux studio comme Studio Mega, PlusXXX ou Davout. (SSL, NEVE, MCI…) En 2004, il rentre en studio pour 2 ans et réalise 70 titres dont 15 constitueront la BO du long métrage Asylum sorti en 2008. La production devient alors son activité principale, le conduisant à réaliser son 1er spot Tv en 2007 pour LeMonde.fr, puis à réaliser des habillages pour des marques de renom comme Chanel, Dior, Bmw, Saab, Orange, Sony, Nespresso, Shiseido, Ruinart, Eres, Viktor&Rolf ou Microsoft. Sa collaboration avec Universal Publishing se renforce, il produit un album pop electro club en 2009 à destination des productions broadcast internationales. Actuellement, il collabore avec 2 artistes de talent, Marianne Elise (Yuksek, Klanguage, Nouvelle Vague, Archive) et Aurélie Lopez (Chateau Marmont).

Artist

The Lifers are Marios Chatzigeorgiou and Paschalis Chatzigeorgiou born in Thessaloniki, Greece in the 20th century. Marios and Paschalis grew up listening to their parents music (60’s,70’s, 80’s), which included everything from pop to classical, soul rock and disco. What can they tell about the 90’s! It gave them too many influences, from house to melo tech-trance with the contribution of their older brother Kostas, who was a known dj for many years. The Lifers has a music culture because of their passion for it and they play the piano and percussion instruments.
